The Goal:
Design a sleek, modern hotel booking website that
delivers a smooth, intuitive experience and helps
travelers easily discover, compare, and book
unique stays around the world.
The Problem and Challenge:
Many hotel booking websites feel cluttered or outdated, with clunky layouts and poor visual hierarchy. Users
often feel overwhelmed when trying to find and compare stays quickly and confidently. Travelers often struggle
to search and filter stays efficiently, leading to frustration and drop-offs during the booking process.
Analyzed leading travel sites to identify common usability pain points. Created mood boards with tech-inspired
color palettes (dark themes, neon accents) and contemporary layouts. Designed high-fidelity screens in Figma,
focusing on clarity, visual appeal, and user flow simplicity. Built the project in Framer, adding typeable inputs,
clean transitions, and hover animations to simulate real-world interactions. Imported designs into Framer to
build interactive prototypes with real input fields, hover effects, and smooth transitions, closely simulating a
working website experience.

The Outcome and Impact:

Chose a dark-themed interface with cool-toned accents to create a sharp, premium feel. Designed a bold hero
section with inspiring messaging and rich imagery. Built an intuitive search bar with destination, guest, and date
inputs for quick access. Created a responsive hotel grid layout with image cards, hover states, and clear labels.
Ensured editable text fields and input interactions for a more dynamic user experience. Designed a clean grid
layout for hotel results, combining large visuals with concise labels to avoid visual clutter while showcasing
destinations. Ensured all input fields were typeable in Framer, enabling real interactivity for testing user flows
and enhancing the prototype’s realism.
Delivered StayVerse, a modern, visually refined hotel booking prototype that blends clean aesthetics
with intuitive usability. The project demonstrates strong UI/UX thinking, polished visuals, and interactive
prototyping skills. Dark theme homepage with bold headings and travel imagery Interactive search bar
with inputs for trip planning Grid layout with hover animations and hotel previews Typeable login and
registration forms . Successfully developed StayVerse, a modern hotel booking prototype that stands
out for its sleek visual language and intuitive user experience. The final product demonstrates
thoughtful problem-solving, aesthetic sensibility, and proficiency in bringing designs to life through
interactive prototyping tools like Framer.

Learned how to distill complex booking flows into a minimal, user-friendly experience. Refined skills in
creating visually appealing, interactive designs using Figma and Framer, bridging UI design with real-
world functionality.
Gained practical experience translating static designs into interactive prototypes, refining skills in both
Figma and Framer, and deepening my understanding of how micro interactions can elevate user
engagement in travel-related digital products.
